How to Apply
UWSP Students
After you have met with your academic and study abroad adviser, and decided on a program - it is time to to apply!
Here are the application steps:

Locate your program of interest. Click the "Apply Now" button within the program page to start your application.

Follow the log-in prompts.

Complete/submit the following required items:

Application Form - a series of basic questions pertaining to you and your program.

Statement of Commitment - a single page, typed essay in which you share your academic reasons as well as your personal motivation for participating in the selected program. You will be prompted to upload this document.

Degree Progress Report - download it from your acesSPoint account and upload it to your application.

Faculty Recommendation - choose your recommender's name and email address in the drop-down menu. The system will send a link to the recommendation form that your recommender will fill out and submit. Your faculty recommender should not be your academic adviser. Unless requested, no written letter of recommendation is necessary.

Passport information or Passport Commitment Acknowledgement

$100 non-refundable Study Abroad application fee (payable by cash/check/money order/credit/debit).

Sign the Study Abroad Refund Policy and Pre-Acceptance Acknowledgements forms.

When all requirements are met, a SUBMIT button will appear at the top of your application. Make sure to click SUBMIT in order for your application to be considered.
SEMESTER & NSE PROGRAMS APPLICANTS, - after you have submitted your application, your next step is to schedule an acceptance/final interview with Katya Leek via Navigate.
FACULTY-LED PROGRAM APPLICANTS - OIE & your faculty leader will review your application and you will be notified about your application's status by email with guidance regarding next steps.
